Jamie Anderson from South Lake Tahoe is the youngest ever Swatch TTR Tour champion, taking out the 07/08 Title when she was just 17 and immensely impressing the international media. Jamie, now 18, has a big shiny collection of TTR event Titles ranging from 3-6 star levels and you can be sure she’ll back in force this year, gunning for back to back titles.Her stellar 07/08 Season saw her dominate the competition, bagging three number one finishes, two 6Stars, at both the Roxy Chicken Jam and Burton European Open, whilst also putting down loads more banging runs. What makes her so good? Jamie is a rider who can stomp it with the best of them, and even though she’s young, she’s working hard on pushing the progression of women’s riding to new levels. Anderson is arguably one of the best in-contest rail riders around spreading her buttery style all over every rail she hits. Jumps are no different as she hits the bigger lines with unshakeable confidence and style. Last season also saw Jamie take her skills to the pipe – an important factor in her TTR Title victory.In 08/09 Jamie has been logging park time in the Southern Hemisphere and if her early season results at Burton Australian and New Zealand Open are anything to go by, Jamie is going to be the one to beat this season.Jamie is a rider who simply throws it down when the time comes, her unbelievable run at the title in 07/08 confirms this, and when she took it home at Mammoth last year she etched her name in history as the world’s youngest champ.
