The young and confident Swiss rider Sina Candrian has been impressing judges and fans in the last couple years, climbing her way up the TTR Tour Rankings. A strong rider in the park and pipe, Sina is very ambitious when it comes to freestyle riding and competing.

Although she prefers going big rather than spinning madly, she’s still managed to place well in major 6-Star global competitions including both Roxy Chicken Jams in Europe and the States, the Burton European Open, The O’Neill Evolution and the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships. Sina is also two-time FIS World Junior Champ in the Big Air, and last season she completed the TTR Tour at World No. 5.

Already in the 07/08 TTR season, Sina has posted great results, placing her in the Top 5 after 11 weeks in the Top 10. She has done will in every contest she's entered finishing in the Top 10 almost every time. Highlights include her 5th place in the Slopestyle at the 5-Star Burton New Zealand Open along with a 6th in the Slopestyle and a 7th in the Halfpipe at the 6-Star Burton European Open.


Sina Candrian still has some work to do in order to catch up with hard-hitting competitors like Torah Bright, Kelly Clark, Jamie Anderson, and Jamie Jones, but Candrian certainly has the style and skills to progress her riding and continue to be a top female competitor on the TTR Tour.

Look for her to throw down at the remaining 6-Star events including the Burton US Open and the Roxy Chicken Jam as she continues the fight to remain in the Women's Top 5, or maybe catch her shredding with her friends on her home mountain in Laax, Switzerland.
